Christmas time is here!

There is so much going on right now I can't even keep things straight. BUT, this is a good thing. It means that I mailed our Christmas cards on Monday, had all the Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving, the tree up by the weekend after Thanksgiving, a good list of cookies to make along with all ingredients bought (except hershey kisses) and a long 'to do' list before Wednesday. I do have Friday off which I am looking forward to. I can't wait to get up early and start on my list. So maybe I sometimes over do things but Friday is going to be baking cookies day which means tons of Christmas music coming from my kitchen and all around fun. (Though i am absolutely pumped for the day that I can share baking Christmas cookies day with my daughter). Other things on the list for Friday is cleaning up paper...boo and cleaning up the clutter in the living room and dining room. Currently there are shipping boxes and wrapping paper as well as a few extra Christmas decorations that I couldn't figure out where to put that are laying around. Just love the holidays... the decorations, the baking, it's just so wonderful.

As of Friday I will have 14 weeks left in this pregnancy! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. It's hard to believe actually. As I had mentioned this to Greg it had really hit him. I've been telling him and he's been keeping track of how far along I am (26weeks) but putting it into a different perspective as to how much time i have left in this pregnancy threw him for a bit of a loop. With that being said we are probably going to register this weekend. (another thing to add to the 'todo' list). I am excited and overwhelmed at the same time. G signed us up for consumer reports a few weeks ago so we could review baby gear. I've been doing a little here and there but with this new realization I've been hitting the inter webs hard looking for reviews on car seats, slings, high chairs, etc. I found a great website with all of my searching that has helped immensely. It's called Tall Baby Stuff and it's for those tall parents. Who knows if our baby will be tall (crossing my fingers she will be) but we won't know that for awhile. So my goal was to find a highly reviewed good travel system AND it also be Tall friendly. I did!!!!! For those that are tall and have the frustrations of the world being too short, when you find something that fits all criteria you want to do a happy dance. And a happy dance I did. Another happy dance moment was that the system doesn't cost $500! So my day was made with that. Now I'm on to looking at all the other baby gear. There's just so much this little pea pod needs. It's crazy. But with the help of at least two showers that I know about, we'll have a good start on all the baby gear, clothing, stuff stuff stuff! lol.

Well, that's all for now, back to researching baby gear....uff dah!
