Another week so quickly passes by and finally I am seeing some more spring like weather. i really hope that we are finally in the clear of no more snow for a few months now. I got the invite for Dixie's wedding last week. It is still so surreal to me that she will be getting married. I'm very excited for her and can't wait till the festivities begin! Speaking of....her bachelorette party is coming up and I'm so excited now if only I could get a hold of her sister to remind her to send out those things called invitations for both the shower and her bachelorette party. Anyways, that's not until May31st.
This weekend started off the way it has been for the past couple of weeks. Greg and I hung out with the RBC crew. I love them and am enjoying getting to know them better. Anyways, I have to say that I'm very proud of myself for making good time considering there was a twins game and everyone else leaving for fishing opener on the freeway. I think I made it right before the big rush. We made it an early night which of course once I'm there with everyone I never want to leave but it was fine. I had a good time as usual....and look forward to seeing them again. I told Greg we should really have some of them over some time for a bbq, but I don't know if some of them would venture over the line to St. Paul, but we'll see :)
Saturday we got up early to go to the Farmer's Market. There wasn't too much out there besides flowers which was fine. It was a nice to walk around in the morning like that. we then ran some errands and all of a sudden it was evening. We decided to make it a quiet night and just watched the movie "Knocked up" ... hilarious!
Sunday was Mother's day. We went to my mom and dad's place to celebrate Mother's day, my brother's bday as well as my neighbor's bday (who is like a second mom to me). The day ended up being beautiful outside so we spent the whole day out there.

It was a good time as usual and my nephew, Eli kept us all very entertained. Poor kid had to deal with some funny hairstyles. I gave him a mo hawk because no one would change his diaper so i did. Then we put a wig on him, but i promise I had nothing to do with that! Well it was entertaining to say the least. I had volleyball in the evening which was pretty fun. We had a double header so I thought we would get pretty tired out but really it wasn't bad. The other teams weren't very competitive but were fun to play against.
Now the start of another work week. I got into work at my typical 6:45 and am now starting to wake up. Guess we'll see how the day turns out!
