Another weekend has just flown by. Greg and I had our once a month "special" date. This time we went to WA Frost for dinner. I was pretty impressed. The prices weren't as bad as I had expected and the portions were perfect. The waiting staff was nice and Greg complimented the chef! The reason for this was because we had a side dish that was Ahi Tuna and Crab cakes...Greg being from Maryland is very picky when it comes to crab cakes and well he was impressed, hence the compliment! After that we went to the Ordway to see the Saint Paul Orchestra. We watched a lecture before the concert too. The concert was nice but a little too relaxing on the music. Greg and I were both nodding away during the music. As we went out to the lobby for the intermission they had a jazz band playing. The cool thing was you could either stay out in the lobby for to continue listening to the jazz band or go back inside for the orchestra. We both agreed on staying for the jazz band. It was very fun...very 30s/40s music! The date was a blast and i'm really appreciating our going out once a month on a nice date. We typically rent a movie or go out for dinner or do something cheap so saving up money for a nicer date once a month is really nice.
Saturday Greg and I looked at some homes in Hugo. We are pretty set on moving to hugo....me probably more then him. We had an appointment on this old farm home that sat on 7acres. We got there before the realtor and I fell in love with the land. I quickly started figuring out where i could set the veggie garden and flower garden...where there needed to be more trees planted and of course invisioning Gabby running and running in the field. My dreams were quickly crushed when we stepped into the home. The foundation itself was crooked and there were some major cracks in the walls...this to me would be a tear down and for what they were asking we couldn't afford to build a house on the land. I really tried to imagine myself there
Again another busy weekend...and now Holy Week...and this weekend, busy again! lol...
Okay enough procrastination...back to cleaning!
