pretty early. Saturday morning I had the 'state' volleyball tournament! We played at the Apple Valley Community Center and our first game wasn't until 9 which was nice. We played some pretty decent teams. The nice thing was that there were refs for the games because typically you have to have other teams ref your game which is NO fun. Anyways, to make a long story short we won! We got first place which was pretty exciting.....but we got this dumb plaques. Don't get me wrong it was really nice of them but when you're an adult a gift certificate is much better then a dust collector. lol. I got home pretty early and was starving. I had to go grocery shopping for Greg's bday dinner for Sunday so we went to pick up some dinner to. Right before we left I got a phone call from my parents house...i couldn't' hear anything and then realized my nephew was on the phone. Of course we had to make a trip over there to see Eli. He is so fun. He laughs and laughs. He loves to chase Greg around and then Greg will turn around and say 'boo' and Eli just giggles. Its adorable! We stayed there for about a half hour and then left to go grocery shopping. As we were leaving Eli started to whine just a little...which was cute...he didn't want us to leave! Grocery shopping went pretty quickly and then we headed home for a night in. Sunday we woke up pretty early and I made Greg his bday breakfast. Then we decided since it was a pretty day out that we would go driving around Hugo, MN. Greg and I are thinking of moving to the outskirts of Hugo but wanted to get a better feel of the place. We spent a good amount of time driving around Hugo. I'm still liking the area and hoping that it may someday (soon) be a good fit for us. Greg wanted Dino's for his bday lunch so we stopped there for lunch followed by a second stop to Caribou for his bday boo drink! We then went to the humane society and visited the dogs. After that, we came home and did a few things. Greg talked to his parents while I watched the hockey game. I then made Greg's bday dinner (lasagna-made from somewhat scratch!) and we enjoyed the evening just relaxing and chatting. It was an eventful weekend full of stuff! haha

Busy Weekend
This weekend seemed to go by fast and yet last forever at the same time. Friday I met Greg out at Brothers Bar in Minneapolis to enjoy some choice beverages with some co-workers of his. We have done this three times now and each time seems to be more fun. I really enjoyed meeting the people that Greg works with. They know how to have a good time and are very funny. We couldn't stay all that long on Friday because I had a volleyball tourney on Saturday. So Greg and I headed home
