Easter Weekend and Peri Weekend

Well i have been such a slacker lately and have not blogged for quite awhile so here is a summary of what has been going on since St. Patty's day weekend.
Last weekend was Easter and an early one at that. It was a White Easter, not to be mistaken for a White Christmas. Saturday my Grandparents were down from Bemidji so we got to visit with them. That was really nice especially since I don't get to see them much. Grandpa is doing well with his Chemo...if i didn't know him I wouldn't even know that he was going through Chemo, he just looks so healthly! :) Greg and I went over to my mom and dad's house along with my mom's side fo the family. It was a pretty good time filled with food, laughter, cutie Eli and farts. Yes, farts. My cousin had bought this 'gack' stuff that you stuff into a container and when you do that it makes farting noises. By the way she bought this for her Nephew but yet of course the adults had a grand ol time with stuff. Also we had a little snowball fight during the time that the two 'grandkids' were looking for Easter Eggs. Needless to say Easter was a pretty darn good time.


Now as for this week...busy is an understatement. Greg and I are trying to keep the house clean and starting to pack up some since we are going to be putting up our house on the market. Anyways Wednesday was extremely busy but fun at the end of the night. I had some of my friends over for some good ol homemade lasagna. They ended up staying till about 10:30 which was a late night for me since i get up at 5:30. Anyways it was fun. Thursday Peri (my sister in law) came into town along with her friend JoAnne. We started off their visit with a good time down at the shout house! I love that place. We had a pretty darn good time down there if i may say. The weekend started off on a good high and then came Friday! Friday we went to the WILD game!!!! It was a very fun game. Greg, Peri, greg's co-worker Dave and myself had club level seats...center line! WOW is all i can really say. Not only were the seats amazing but the game was great and I got to see a crazy fight. Not that fights are a great thing in hockey but this involved everyone that was on the ice except for the goalies. I never thought I would see the day when Bouchard would fight but he sure did. I'm guessing you can find a good clip of the fight on youtube.com. I highly enjoyed the complimentary coffee too once we finally found it. Needless to say I can't wait for the playoffs when i get to go to another game! Saturday we had breakfast at the Copper Dome (YUM!) and headed out to the MOA and I got to play my first game of indoor golf there. It was pretty fun and there was many interesting characters at the MOA that day. lol. Today we drove to Hugo to show Peri to get her Blessing but she's still thinking about it. :) It's been a pretty lokey day ... we watched Nascar and now the Wild! :) Fun fun...Wild won so makes the ending of a weekend even better!
