I look at the photo at the top of my blog and am reminded of my favorite place... on a lake in Bemidji. The quiet, peaceful breeze. The waves gently hitting the shore and the loons calling out are so beautiful each in it's own way. So back to reality... it's snowing. Someone on FB said that they were in a snow globe and really I feel the same way. The snow is so pretty right now, big flakes, gently falling, light breeze all make for a snow globe world. I say this now that I am not driving in it but will have to do that soon... no fun. Hopefully the roads won't be too bad.
My day was made today as my co-workers handed me an envelope that announced a baby shower....for me! Wow, that is just so darn nice!! I am super excited because it's a potluck and my co-workers really know how to cook and bake! I'm very surprised and thankful for such a wonderful group of people. I don't realize all the time just how lucky I am. I know that there are some people out there that love their job but hate the people they work with and therefore don't enjoy their job. I don't know if I could drag myself to work if I didn't like my co-workers. In my opinion your co-workers can really make or break your job, your week or even just your day. So I am blessed and thankful more than they may even know. :)
As for everything else.... the nursery is getting there. I posted pictures on my FB of the progress. I can't wait to put up wall hangings and then I'll feel that it is almost complete... it won't be until our little girl shows her face of course. :) She's been moving around lots and I LOVE that feeling. So amazing, so blessed....
