Greg and I were preparing for our rehearsal dinner. Greg was probably waking up at his place and I was waking up at mine. (oooahhhhh yea, we didn't live together until we were married, rare, I know). Anyway we had decided to take it easy that day. We had our rehearsal at Jehovah Lutheran church late afternoon. It went very well. Pastor Ben was and is always an amazing guy. The rehearsal was pretty short and sweet. At one point Thomas told me a story that I should concentrate on while walking down the aisle. It went something like: Aisle, think of the word aisle and how you are walking down the aisle and are surrounded by the ones you love, you see the Alter, the alter symbolizes God and the love He has for you...etc etc, then you see your soon to be husband, Him. He has a twinkling tear in his eye as you walk near him. Both of you knowing that you were meant for each other. So while you walk down the aisle you say to yourself "Aisle Altar Him" .... (say it out loud, get it?) lol. It was an adorable story that made me laugh, much like Thomas always did.

After the church rehearsal we were off to Sgt Peppers for the rehearsal dinner. It was amazing! The food was great and the wait staff was wonderful! We had so much food!!! Greg's family was able to bring in their own dessert so they had picked up some cakes from Sam's club. They also brought in beautiful roses from Sam's that decorated the tables. It was very pretty! There was supposed to be some games outside but it was raining so o'well. The type A in me handed out little schedules for everyone involved in the wedding. Just to let them know the 'schedule' of the day, pictures, and whatnot. We ended up taking home a lot of food. Somehow they let us do this because of all the leftovers. It was very kind of them.

I can't remember much else from that evening. We had a Thursday rehearsal so Friday was cleared for relaxing and last minute stuff.

Just amazes me that it has already been 5 whole years. Wow!
