A time to Remember....

My best friend's father died yesterday. It's been a surrealy time and I"m very sad. He was like a second father to me. Warren was always a child at heart, he would start waterfights with us (Dixie, Mary and I) in the middle of any given Saturday. He was an amazing father and man of God. His faith was strong and it showed through in so many ways. He will be deeply missed but his soul will live on in many lives that he touched.

Warren, I'll never forget your laugh, the waterfights, and tourting Dixie with Dwight Yokum music. You will be missed but you'll live on through us all. Thank you for being a part of my life.

There has been a lot of sadness lately and today when I got into work I heard this song which gave me comfort

Creed : Don't Stop Dancing

At times life is wicked and I just can't see the light
A silver lining sometimes isn't enough
To make some wrongs seem right
Whatever life bringsI've been through everything
And now I'm on my knees again
But I know I must go on
Although I'm hurt I must be strong
Because inside I know that many feel this way
Children don't stop dancing
Believe you can fly
Away...Away
At times life's unfair and you know it's plain to see
Hey God I know I'm just a dot in this world
Have you forgotten about me?
Whatever life brings
I've been through everything
And now I'm on my knees again
But I know I must go on
Although I'm hurt I must be strong
Because inside I know that many feel this way
Children don't stop dancing
Believe you can fly..Away...AWAY...
Am I hiding in the shadows?
Forget the pain and forget the sorrows
Am I hiding in the shadows?
Forget the pain and forget the sorrows!
But I know I must go on
Although I'm hurt I must be strong
Because inside I know that many feel this way
Children don't stop dancing
Believe you can fly
Away... Away...
Children don't stop dancing
Believe you can fly
Away... Away...
Am I hiding in the shadows?
are we hiding in the shadows?
