I can vaguely remember sitting on the boat up in Bemidji looking out at the sky at this wierd looking light....soon to be educated by my family that this amazing light in the sky is called Norther Lights. The NL I remember the most is when I was still in college. I remember getting a call from my friend about a possible Northern Lights 'show' that would be happening that evening. We would got find some back road and while a car here and there would pass us asking us if we were stalled or needed help we would kindly tell them that we were just watching the beautiful show in the sky. I have never done too much research on the Norther Lights except that I think they are caused by solar wind and radiation. Whatever the scientific explanation is doesn't matter to me too much, I just find it so amazing and absolutely stunning.

Northern Lights
I got an email yesterday with pictures of some Northern Lights taken in Canada. Seeing Northern Lights or the offical name which is Aurora Borealis, has always amazed me.
