We're almost in the middle of May and summer is rushing in. i guess you really can't tell to much with this weather but it's getting there. I think I'm going to try a new way of updating today. So here we go:
Greg: Greg is doing well. He is still contract at RBC but we are hopeful that he will either go full-time this summer/fall or he'll find another full-time job. We all know how tough it is to actually find a job right now so we are just happy that he has a job that pays the bills! :) When he's not working he's been fixing computers for some of our friends as well as starting a garden. Greg and I are trying a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) as a way to get our veggies. We joined Harmony Valley in Viroqua WI. It is an organic farm with veggies, meat, coffee, fruit, and cheese offered. We are only doing the veggies because it is not cheap but well worth it. Which gets me to my other point of Greg planting a veggie garden. We're not sure what to expect for veggies but we know our favorites and want to have them on hand. Greg planted this small garden in order for us to save some money and hopefully be good at it too!! :) It's pretty fun to see the plants starting to sprout. Other than that he keeps pretty busy with life itself!

Gabby: I know, I know... she's just a dog but she's our little kid too. She's 9 years old now but you wouldn't be able to tell with her energy level. She's getting very gray and shows her age with how much sleeping she does. But let me tell you when she's awake and wants to play you would think we have a puppy on our hands. Two weeks ago a bunch of us did the Walk for Animals which I was not able to take Gabby. It's sad but when we got her she already had some bad
habits with other dogs. We have worked on it and she's better than she used to be but we figured she would give herself a heart attack if she went to this walk. There were over 8,000 people which she would of loved and I have no idea of many pets were there but that would of given her quite the heart palpitations.... lol. Either way I walked in honor of her since we did adopt her from the Humane Society. It was a beautiful day and saying it was fun doesn't get it justice.

Me: Well I'm working full-time and have been full-time now for a little over a year. Once again I say that Greg and I are blessed to both have jobs that can pay the bills. Work is pretty busy and I look forward to 3:00 every day. Don't get me wrong I like my job but let's be honest... it's a job. Other than work I have been catching up slowly but surely with my scrapbooking. It's amazing how many pictures I have from just 2008. I'm hoping by the end of 2009 I have the 2008 pictures all scrapbooked. The indoor vball season has come to an end which is sad but the outdoor season has started up. I currently only play on Sundays which is sometimes a pain but it's pretty worth it. My running has taken a fall with a bruised heel. It's very annoying but I'm hoping to get back to it in the next week or so. Greg and I have been looking for a bike for me. I'm very excited to start biking more. For our anniversary Greg and I are staying at a B&B and hope by then I will have my new bike so we can go biking on some trails and here's hoping and praying for some nice weather! I really hope that Greg and i get into this biking thing. It would be a nice activity for us to do on the weekends and maybe do some short road races together. Nothing else here.... just trying to keep the house clean.. which is an on going battle!!! LOL.
