Warm and Sunny

That is the forecast.. FINALLY!!!

Of course here I am stuck at work sitting at my cubicle and no one around me. I think a few people may have called in "sick" today. Allergies....ha!

Weeks have flown by lately. Last weekend was Easter. It was a good time. Greg and I went to my parents along with my mom's side of the family. There are only two kids so they got very spoiled by the Easter Bunny. I think they both received 4 or 5 baskets. Must be rough kiddos. Anyway, the weather was nice and the time was cherished.

My grandmother (still newly widowed) is down here from Bemidji. She's been down here for about a week now. Greg and I visited her a little bit on Tuesday. Yesterday a bunch of us went over to my aunt's house.... where WOW kid-mania! My dad's side of the family is much larger than my moms. Plus they are catholic... which sometimes (many times) means lots of kids. :) It is sure fun to see them all run around though. I do believe there were more kids than adults there. Anyway we all went over there for cake and ice cream since it was my grandma's 83rd(?) birthday. This was a big birthday for her since well it is her first without her best friend by her side. They were married 63 years! Anyway I had some good baby time. Most of the kids are in the phase of running around and screaming (2yrs-13yrs) BUT there were two infants there... both of which I held for a bit. Deor is just about to start crawling and Isabella is about 18 months.. both are cuddle bugs which is real fun. As I sat and chatted with some of my cousins I really took in what was going on. Life... well obviously. I enjoyed seeing all the kids running around, playing, while adults sat and talked about "what's new" It was a good time and I'm glad Greg and I were able to go!
