Spring is here and I absolutely love it. I can finally go outside and run! Running has gotten to be a bit of a challenge because my knees have been bothering me but I guess that comes with age. It also may be a factor that I have played volleyball forever. owell...
Greg and I have been working on the house pretty much any free moment that we have on hand. It's funny how all these little projects have really added up. We kept putting them off and now, well we kinda have to do them. Anyways, it's been fun learning how to do some Mr. Fix-it things.
Indoor volleyball is coming to an end which saddens me but this means outdoor starts up! I'm only on one league (so far) but hopefully I can get into another one.
As for this weekend....
Friday I went out to Minneapolis (without getting lost, thank you!)

to meet up with Greg and some of his peeps from work. I think it took me an hour to get out there because there was a twins game .... so needless to say the traffic was crazy. But I just put on 93x and blasted the tunes so it was all good. We started the night off at Brothers and then proceeded to Sneaky Pete's. We have gone out a few times with them now and it always seems to be a good time. They are great group of people and I'm so glad that I have met them. The reason for this outing was that Dave (pictured on the left with me) had 'won' a "party" at Brothers (and well it was his bday this past week so why not celebrate!?). This meant that he (we) got 20 pitchers of beer for $20. It's

a great deal for those that drink beer which is too bad that he and Greg don't but, I think they made due with their cider. There was even tables reserved for him...wow! ;-) I also learned a new game from Suzanne.....'rolling a quarter off your nose and into a shot glass game." She is a definite champ at it but Im working on my skills with the game. I am yet still amazed at how many people are out and about in Minneapolis on a Friday night. Not that I would expect it to be empty but seriously where do these people come from!? lol....and in reality I could just sit at a booth all night and people watch, there are some interesting species out there, ha. But, I wouldn't want it any other way. As usual I can't wait to go out with all of them again. Anyways, Greg and I got home sometime before 2am and actually got up pretty early considering how late we were out. Saturday consisted of a pretty laid back day. We didn't do too much which was fine with me because I was tired and crabby.... We both had semi-plans to watch the Wild game but both fell through which is fine. We decided not to go out to a bar to watch the game and just hungout at home. We didn't watch the game either which i guess i'm glad we didn't because they lost and the season is over. *tear* :-( Life goes on and well someone has to loose. Sunday (today) is absolutely gorgeous outside. We went to the gym early to get our workout out of the way and then decided to work on the dreaded garage. oye...I'm so proud though. I should of taken before and after pictures...ha! We got things reorganized and cleaned. It finally looks like a decent garage that you can actually move around in! Currently i'm cooking on the grill..yum! As for the rest of today....relax outside and get ready to start my new position tomorrow....all day orientation though ... boo. Owell
