Winter Wonderland

The snow is fluffy and has been falling since Christmas day (in the afternoon)! I sit here at work along with no one else, since everyone else is on vacation, but the silence is kinda nice. The snow is so peaceful and beautiful. I was brought back to my childhood as I woke up on Christmas day to see a winter wonderland. It took a lot for me not to just go run out side and jump into the snow, but having a dog and knowing that i could accidently jump into something other than snow, kept me from doing so. :) Anyways, Christmas day was nice. We went to my parents house and opened up gifts. Eli even kinda got it which was really cool. He's 13 months old today so we didn't know what to expect when it came to opening gifts. Eli was really sick too, i felt so bad for him. One minute he would be laughing and the next he would be crying because he just didnt' feel well. Aparently he didn't get much sleep. Anyways, the rest of the day was spent at my parents along with my aunt that came over for an early dinner. It was a nice dinner but i am so over 'holiday' food. All I want to eat is carrots, apples and salads...lol. Now its back to work but I am still enjoying the beautiful snow...it's finally a true Minnesota winter!!
