Memories of 2007...

It's hard to believe that another year of my life has gone by. Life just passes quicker and quicker each year. I sometimes wish I could just make it slow down just a bit. I find that each year I learn more and sometimes wish I knew more, if that makes any sense. Anyways, here are some of my memories/highlights of 2007...hopefully I can remember some good ones!


January
Celebrated the New year! Delt with some cold weather....can't really remember anything else.
February
March
Had a party for Greg's 31st birthday and met Benjamin (Dixie's now fiancee). We also had a fun get together with Ann and Chads wedding party.
April

May
We drove from St. Paul, MN to Nova Ohio..straight! Actually I drove because Greg was sick and I had to drive the his '74 Nova the whole way there. This does not include cruise control. We drove through the night so we didnt' have to deal with traffic. We drove to Nova, OH to visit Megan and Harry. We also celebrate our 2nd anniversay, Greg's parents anniversary and Megan's 30th bday.

Started a running routine...soon realizing that its a huge stress reliever for me too :)
June
We went up to Bemidji to celebrate Father's day. It was nice to see my Grandparents and see Eli and Grandpa interact. (Eli was copying Grandpa blow 'raspberries')

Greg's family came into town for the "back to the 50's" car show.
July
Started running 10 miles! I never thought I was going to do that but it became a weekly thing. The other days i ran my typical 6-8 and then once a week I ran 10!

Greg and I both celebrate one year at our jobs.
August
On the first day of August I was on my way to play some outdoor vball in Blaine with mary and we all started to get some phone calls and text messages....the 35W bridge collasped? It didn't seem right but soon we got more information and

I think my favorite memory of August and maybe even of 2007 would have to be the Mud Volleyball tournament in St. Paul Park. This was our third year playing in the tourney and the weather sucked but we made the best of it. With hot cocoa (spiked with creme de menthe) and high spirits...oh yea and the rain delay that caused the cancellation of the tourney, we got second place. The tourney was two days and the one night we all hungout over at Nick's which was a blast. It was a bummer that the tourney was canceled but it was still a very memorable weekend.
September
I celebrated my 26th bday... :-/

I think this was the month of Ann's bachelorette party. The party was a blast we had a shower at my house and then went out to Stillwater...and it was beautiful out.
October
Celebrated the marriage of Ann and Chad. I was a Matron of Honor and had to do a speech which freaked me out, but I got through it. They had a BEAUTIFUL day, the weather couldn't of been any better. It was fun to celebrate with so many fun people.
November
We celebrate the marriage of Jeff and Natalie Crosby. I went to HS with Jeff. The wedding was a big reunion of some of my HS teachers. I even had a shot with my math teacher that still calls me "Bruno." The night was eventful and fun. We had an 'outdoor' bar which made for some fun little trips...too bad it was so cold outside.
On November 26th Eli turned one...It's so hard to believe that only a year ago he was just brought into this world and now he is walking in it!
December
The month of the holidays was jammed packed. Greg's family came out and we celebrate and early Christmas with them. A few days after they left we celebrated Christmas with my family and my other relatives. It was busy busy but always full of fun memories.
